Born in Sapporo.
He studied guitar at the École Normale de Musique, and at the Conservatoire du 15e Frédéric Chopin in Paris, with Betho Davezac.
In 1994, he obtained 1st place diploma in Guitar and in Chamber Music.
After returning to Japan, he began performing concerts in various places, and also started educational activities.
He has presided over the Early Guitar Study Group.
He is a Winner of the Banri-no-chojyo Cup International Music Competition, and the Choko Cup International Music Competition.
Supporter of the Harp Guitar Foundation (USA), and Regular member of the Kanagawa Guitar Association.
He plays the classical guitar, the ukulele, the renaissance guitar, the
renaissance lute, the baroque guitar, the baroque lute, the romantic
guitar, the terzguitar and the 8-strings guitar.
